My name is Lana Zeydan. I am a Turkish-Syrian filmmaker based in Dublin, Ireland. I have experience in many roles in the filmmaking process, including directing, writing, cinematography, makeup, editing, production, and production design. What inspire my work are love, horror, and poetry.
My short film debut ‘Study of a Girl’ which I have written, directed, and co-edited won an award at Roma Short Film Festival for ‘Best First-Time Filmmaker’. I also starred in the film as I enjoy acting as well.
I have been working on multiple short films since attending film school in Paris in 2021 until now, at Griffith College Dublin. Due to these experiences, I have been able to sharpen my skills and really hone in to the style of work that I naturally gear towards, which means I have been able to develop my own unique aesthetic and ways of storytelling.
